Cadiz (Spain) - 18 th to 20 th March 2009

The third SEACASE progress meeting was held in Cadiz from 18th to 20th March 2009, after the Spanish SEACASE workshop on “Cultivo acuícolas extensivos y semi-intensivos en zonas costeras” – Extensive and semi-intensive aquaculture production in coastal areas.

Project progress and results from all tasks were presented and discussed. Main themes discussed were socio-economics, product quality, certification and final reports. Several meetings with working groups took place in order to discuss sampling protocols, future work and upcoming deliverables.

Next project meeting is scheduled to December 2009, in Faro, Portugal, together with the Portuguese Workshop and the International  Workshop on Sustainable extensive and semi-intensive coastal aquaculture in Southern Europe, both organised by the SEACASE project.
